Ba Son shipyard was a storied historical site and one of Saigon’s fondest holdovers. Though the shipyard is now gone, its memory lives on at Bason Café, where recovered items pay homage to an Indochine icon. French elements – trusses from Toulon, tiles from Marseilles – recall colonial times, while maritime relics bespeak our love for the river.
